Published each spring, Kalo serves as an opportunity for us to reflect on the past year and share exciting and upcoming projects within the Alpha Chi community. The magazine is a celebration of the achievement and excellence of our members, as well as a platform to showcase their work and their stories. We encourage general interest submissions from members, alumni, and chapters.
Submission Types
- We encourage general interest submissions from members, alumni, chapters, and, on a limited basis, Alpha Chi chapter advisors. Please review Kalo, Volume 1 first to help you determine if your work might be a good fit.
- Chapters or alumni who have accomplished influential campus programming or professional milestones are encouraged to submit a compelling proposal to Kalo. Whether you'd like to write your own story or be interviewed and featured in Kalo, please contact us at kalo@alphachihonor.org to discuss your idea.
- Academic undergraduate work that will benefit from the more extensive peer review process should be submitted first to Aletheia, Alpha Chi's peer-reviewed undergraduate research journal. Kalo is where an article about such work and subject matter would be published in a more generally accessible format.
