Friday, April 4 — Convention Day 1 of 2 (all times listed in Central Time)

10:00 a.m.Independent Presentation Viewing
Approximately 40 member presentations are accessible at any time and are shared from Alpha Chi’s YouTube channel via an unlisted playlist that is coded by discipline groups. You can access that playlist here, and it’s also accessible in the upper Gatherly toolbar as “View Member Presentations.” You do not have to be on any particular floor to view these. On Saturday, two floors will appear for the Q&A Sessions by Discipline.

On-Platform Organic Social Networking

You and other attendees should explore the Gatherly space at your leisure to get familiar with the platform and how to navigate around. Use the elevator. Test out the games floor. Walk up to another attendee or group chat already in progress to enter a face-to-face huddle. Access the attendee list to locate someone by name.

11:00 a.m.Welcome & Orientation
When this event begins, you will be pulled from wherever you are in Gatherly into an all-delegate Broadcast which will feel similar to a Zoom webinar.

Join us for the official welcome to the 2025 National Convention! We’ll hear a little from leadership, do a quick program overview, and get more acquainted with the Gatherly platform. If you were unable to attend a live orientation session before the conference, please join us as we embark on a brief tour of Gatherly.

The 2025-2029 slate of National Council Member-at-Large candidates will be introduced, and we’ll hear from a few Regional Student Representatives who will be finishing their Council service this spring. Voting delegates will learn how to receive and complete their ballots for the At-Large election.
