Alpha Chi is certified by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). Founded in 1925, ACHS is the nation’s only certifying agency for college and university honor societies. ACHS is a visibly cohesive community of national and international honor societies, individually and collaboratively exhibiting excellence in scholarship, service, programs, and governance.

Alpha Chi was recognized for transparency with GuideStar’s 2024 Platinum Seal of Transparency. GuideStar collects and displays in-depth information about 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, including goals, strategies, capabilities, achievements, legitimacy, and finances in order to provide transparency.

As an honor society founded on the tenets of Truth and Character, Alpha Chi is firmly committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. As a national honor society, Alpha Chi commits to ensuring that all members of the society have broad access to the opportunities and benefits of Alpha Chi membership.
