The Recorder

The Recorder was Alpha Chi's first formal journal. In its first year, 1957, it contained the minutes of all national and regional meetings, financial reports, undergraduate submissions, the convention program, and a few articles written by national leaders. The publication grew in scope during the years when Dr. Dennis M. Organ was Alpha Chi's editor of publications. During Organ's tenure as editor (with many years holding both the editor and the executive director positions), the journal grew from a single annual issue to a volume of three separate issues each year: Proceedings, Undergraduate, and then Alumni. The proceedings issue is the only issue currently in publication.
