Welcome, NCHC attendees!
Thank you for your interest in Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. Since 1922 Alpha Chi has been of one of the leading honor societies in the country. A chapter of Alpha Chi gives your most gifted students a place to thrive, fueling robust intellectual lives both in and outside the classroom. Our chapters celebrate and cultivate the life of a scholar—sponsoring forums, lectures, debates, and workshops at universities across the nation. As one of America’s most prestigious honor societies, only students who place in the top ten percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students are eligible for an invitation.
To learn more about starting a chapter on your campus, we hope you’ll stop by our table for some goodies and a little information to share when you return to your campus.

Alpha Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). Founded in 1925, ACHS is the nation’s only certifying agency for college and university honor societies. Membership in ACHS ensures the highest standards of organizational excellence and of scholastic eligibility. In an era of predatory organizations that call themselves honor societies, inclusion in ACHS gives prospective members and chapter sponsors a certified, credible seal of approval.
