Chapter Advisor Nomination Process
Academic Scholarships > Chapter Advisor Nomination Process
The Gaston/Nolle and Sledge/Benedict competitions require applicants to be nominated by their chapter advisor. Applicants must be confirmed as nominees by their chapter advisor for their application to be considered.
Advisor Instructions
1. Check your inbox for an email from the National Office that details the number of nominations allotted to your chapter.
2. Be sure to communicate this information to your students early and encourage them to speak with you before applying to ensure they can be confirmed as a nominee.
3. When a student submits their application, you will receive a "Scholarship Nomination Request" via email, where you will be asked to confirm whether or not you intend to nominate the applicant who has requested a nomination.
4. Faculty advisors must confirm their nominees by Feb. 5, 2026.
